about

thought: when I started to compose and record electronic music (back in the early 90's) my first monicker was "Diagonal Chains", a name that related to a recurrent dream I was having around that period. After a couple of indutrial albums influenced by Ministry and Nine Inch Nails, "The Secret Sharer" was an attempt at evolving by softening my sound to reach a more thoughtful and melodic form, influenced by Autechre, Boards Of Canada and Aphex Twin.

matter: synthesizers, samples, effects, programming.

history: this album was released in 2000 and distributed in cd and mp3 format through the now defunct Vitaminic portal. Unavailable since years, though.

now: this album is available again through bandcamp in its completeness as a free download.
